Burlington Baptist Church Rentals
Burlington Baptist Church offers rooms to the public that are ideally suited for events such as small meetings, A/V presentations, concerts, support groups, exercise classes, music lessons, weddings, baptisms and funerals.
Please note:
The Church Administrator and the Property and Finance Team are responsible for handling all applications for use of facilities and room rentals. Fill out the booking information form available online to inquire about booking a room at Burlington Baptist Church.
The Property and Finance Team may, upon request, authorize a non-profit community the use of the facilities on a free will offering basis.
Liability insurance (minimum of $2 million) is a requirement for all rentals and is the responsibility of the renter to obtain before the event.
Main Level
Sanctuary (main level)
The Sanctuary of Burlington Baptist Church is a multi-function area that can accommodate theatre and/or dinner seating. This space is an ideal venue for weddings, concerts, receptions, speakers, ceremonies, or any large gathering. The room can also be configured for smaller breakout groups.
The Sanctuary is adjacent to the well-appointed Halton Health inspected kitchen. A brewing station and serving tables can be set up in the Sanctuary. There are 2 gender neutral washrooms (1 is fully accessible) located nearby.
There is a Baptistry in the Sanctuary.
Upper Level
Upper Room (upper level)
This room is suitable for weekly/monthly support group, club meeting, small group exercise class, flexible settings are available.
Dingle Hall (upper level)
The maximum capacity for this room is 50 seated or 30 using a workshop style setting (table/chairs). Exercise class capacity is 15 to 20 people. With excellent acoustics and a tuned baby grand piano, the room is ideal for choir groups, small recitals, or music classes. Access is also available via the Bridgman Street entrance.
Youth Room (upper level)
This smaller setting will hold 8 – 10 people in a relaxed setting. Options for use include meetings, reading groups, book clubs and music classes
Study Room (upper level)
This smaller setting will hold 8 – 10 people in a relaxed setting. Options for use include meetings, reading groups, book clubs, and counselling services.
Lower Level
Meeting rooms on the lower level have limited accessibility, with nine steps down from the main level foyer. There is a kitchen suitable for brewing coffee and making tea and washrooms.
Geddes Room (lower level)
This room also has a separate entrance via a ramp from the parking lot. This room is available only in the evenings and on weekends. It is suitable for activities such as exercise classes, dance classes and acting classes with a capacity of 15 to 20 people.
Mitchell Hall (lower level)
This room can also be accessed via the Bridgman Street entrance and is suitable for activities such as exercise classes, dance classes and acting classes with a capacity of 15 to 20 people. This room is available only in the evenings and on weekends.
